Valid Measurements Products and Services

Valid Measurements offers reference design products which provide detailed design guidance and are adaptable to a variety of measurement applications, particularly those involving strain gage and resistance temperature detector (RTD) sensors. Each design provides outputs from each sensor and from the various differences in the changes of sensor pairs. Complete systems can also be provided -- call for details.

Anderson loop DC signal conditioner reference design: $695
Conditions up to four sensors in a single Anderson loop system. The user supplies regulated 9-to-30 or +/- 9-to-15 VDC.

Anderson loop DC thermostrain gage signal conditioner reference design: $795
Use thermocouple wire to connect up to two strain gages in a single Anderson loop system and simultaneously sense strain and temperature without significant interaction.

ACL-8 Anderson loop DC signal conditioner: $5,400
Condition eight sensors in from one to eight Anderson loops. For strain gages RTDs, and other variable-resistance sensors. High-accuracy measurement of temperature and differences between widely-separated sensors. Separate personality cards for each sensor. Especially convenient for portable operation with data recorders from SONY and TEAC.

ACL-2 Anderson loop DC signal conditioner: $495, 8-Card Backplane: $495
Condition two sensors per signal conditioner circuit card with individual and shared loop excitation supplies to form one or two Anderson loops per card. More sensors can exist in the same Anderson loop using multiple signal conditioning cards. For strain gages RTDs, and other variable-resistance sensors. High-accuracy measurement of temperature and differences between widely-separated sensors. The 8-card backplane includes a power supply that can be ordered to accommodate all typical AC and DC power sources.
